about mija of moon
my name is bella (she/they) and I am glad you have found me here <3
I am a mestizo & queer artist and those expressions are important to my medicine, magic, and creative power. I dance and translate from the nepantla, the in-between — between worlds, systems, and identities.
In my practice, I play with language, poetry, divination, astrology, psychicism, trance channeling, art, mediumship, coaching, decolonial world-building, para-ontological curiosity, cosmic investigation, ritual, ceremony, and ancestral medicine to support myself, my clients, my community, and the world.
At the heart of everything I do is perhaps story:
Story as art. Story as healing. Story as praxis. Story as magic.
my practice
I came into this world as a force to be reckoned with, big and bright and bold. Along the way I lost connection to some parts, to confidence, and to my sense of agency and power. Through this work of decolonizing, restoring animist lifeways, and soul remembering I have found my joy, my sovereignty, and my authority.
When I was first diagnosed with complex-PTSD, I was determined to heal. Through this pursuit, I returned to forgotten ancestral practices, to the earth, to my ancestors, to invisible forces, to the cosmos, and to my own sacred beauty — I found not only the divine within myself but also within everything.
Like many others, tarot was an early portal back into my own gnosis and spiritual connection but as I continued to follow my resonance and surrender to my heart, my journey has unfolded in unexpected ways.
I awakened my abilities as a psychic and trance channel as well as a developing medium. I use my clair-senses, divinatory tools, and creativity to connect to and translate cosmic & divine messages.
Each step, every teacher, reader, modality, class I have taken offered opened up a crack in the stories I inherited, allowing me to go deeper and wider with every step.
Living Systems, Leah Garza’s immersive journey of exploration and transformation beyond the isolation of the colonial reality lit a fire within me. For me, decoloniality is central.
I continue to deepen and expand my decolonial lens and approach, intuitive abilities, and spiritual growth through ongoing study and devotion. My practice is always evolving, as am I. Becoming is a never ending spiral.
My path is still unfolding.
I value radical compassion, honesty, and deep presence in my sessions. Though this work can be a catalyst for rapid change, the principles behind it are slow and intentional.
If you are called to my work, perhaps I hold a key for you — one that opens a portal for your own becoming, your own wholeness, your own sacred emergence.

let’s get started
the cosmology of mija of moon
a little about the assumptions that shape how I move, listen, and hold space.
this is not universal truth, but the world as I understand it right now.
1. Everything is alive, and nothing precedes the relationship. The land, the elements, ancestors, spirits, the past, the future — all are animate, aware, and co-arising with us. We are not separate beings who then enter into conversation with the web of life. We come into being through it. As Juan López Intzín (Xuno) said, "todo se corazona,” everything is enheartened.
2. There are many worlds within the world, and we walk between them. Reality is porous and layered. Mystery and the material coexist. The past is always present. We are multi-dimensional.
3. The spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental are not separate. What happens in the body happens in the spirit, what lives in the emotions manifests in the material. We are all light, all fractals of the same larger life force. Nothing is superfluous.
4. The personal and collective are one. There is no private healing separate from collective liberation. There is no collective liberation without local healing.
5. Oppression is real, material, and spiritual. Systemic harm is real and impacts us on every level.
6. You are whole. You are perfect. Healing is not about fixing brokenness. It's about remembering, resourcing, and reclaiming your sovereignty and power as well as building capacity for what you desire.
7. Agency is sacred and eternal. Even in suffering, even in oppression, choice is available in some capacity. As long as you have breath, you have agency. You are the ultimate authority on your own life and spirit.
8. Creativity and play are portals to the unseen. Ritual, poetry, imagination, and wonder are not decoration. They are how we access other worlds, honor transformation, and remember our magic.
9. Nothing is fixed. Everything is emerging through relationship.
““All that you touch
You Change.
All that you Change
Changes you.
The only lasting truth
is Change.
God
is Change.””
